When steam controller's pic was first released it took everyone by surprize. Valve got a lot of praise for doing something new. But recently they kept changing the design of the controller. It may be for the best. But such doing has shaded the wow factor of steam controller. What will finally it look like? PS4 controller?

I think it is still pretty much the same concept except for the lack of the touchpad but that was always not really what I considered as the important part of the controller and they probably also not. The important part and difference two the other controllers are the two circle pads and I think they will stay. 

And sure, they put some buttons and a D-Pad on it now but as long as the circle pads stay (do you  even call them like that?) it has still what people were so surprised about.

That would be a plus for long term console gamers.

I don't like the look of that D-pad...
