Forums - Sony - PS4 digital game sharing question

Okay i have a question on how to share digital games on the PS4.

So my brother owns a PS4, he also owns digital games that i would like to play (Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Call of Duty). Those games were purchased and downloaded on his PS4, of which he is the primary account on that PS4.

I too own a PS4, and my account is the primary account on my PS4. I would like to be able to download and play his games, on my Ps4, on my name (psn name), so the stats and such go to me.

Is there a way I can do this? Perhaps would making him the primary account on my PS4 too work?

Around the Network

You'd have to make his account the primary account on your PS4 in order to access his games. This would mean that his would become his secondary PS4 which would require him to be signed-in in order to play his games.

Yes if he made it so that his account's primary PS4 was yours, then you'd be able to play all his games. However on his system he would need internet in order to play his digital games.

thanks for the help.
i can always switch back and forth primary accounts, right?
