So the biggest most hyped game of the year for XBOXONE is released and sales increase by about 70-80k.....that cant be a good sign.  Next week they'll probably return to normal levels.

Graznted this game is availble on multiple platforms but it does go someway to highlight the problems Microsoft has.  I reckon MSFT has to either cut the price now of the console either through taking a loss on the boxes itself or by unbundling the kinect.  The longer they put off the longer sales will suffer and it may be too late by the time they get round to acting.

Why not enjoy microsofts success and stop posting these type of posts. I also dont like microsoft. But these type of counter posts needs to stop.

OMG the hardware sales just increased by 116% and the game just sold 580k in NA (8 times the amount of all PS4 games combined!).

lol. people are running their mouths saying the boost isnt impressive at all and titanfall effect isnt very minimal and others are saying its fantastic and Titanfall is an amazing system seller. more than likely one fraction of these people will be proven very wrong in the coming weeks depending on how XB1 sales go. if they drop back to where they were or close, then TitanFalls effect was indeed not that big. of XB1 sales dont drop much and continue to be strong than titan fall did infact boost sales by a lot.

it will be fun to see people eat crow either way. some are just running their mouths very prematurely

For me, the next week XO sold 110/120 k, and 3 week back below 100,000...

Well, people have to realize that it costs $100 more... The fact that they still sell x1 competitively (atm) to the ps4 even though it has weaker hardware and costs $100 more should be considered a big win

Biggest of the year? No. Any Halo that comes out this year will be the biggest release for Xbox One.

lol no. if halo 5 comes out this year then yeah sure it will. if a halo 2 remake comes out this year then no, it wont be bigger than titanfall. halo 1 anniversary sold 2.2 million on a 80 million install base. titanfall will easily outsell that on a much smaller install base. 

This numbers are not bad, the problem is that consoles tend to snow ball, the most popular one tends to leave the one in second place far behind because friends tend to buy what their friends have, so even though 70-80k is good, this still does not gets Xbone out of the possibility of becoming a distant 2 place, that is why we are seen price drops in so many places so early, they need to do more than ok, they need to be in first place, but they are not getting there.
