I was watching youtube videos using 4k pc for search in youtube. Watched Dark Souls, Titanfall, BF3, New Theif etc

I think animation needs to step up A LOT, because 4k exposes the jerky movements and exacerbates this movement. Theif Reminds me of HL 1 movements lulz.

watching 4K videos on the shitty compression youtube uses, on a non-4K display? and TITANFALL of all games, something that doesn't even push a mid-range laptop graphically... yeah... what a waste of time.

I'm using a 4K monitor right now, the difference between those youtube videos at "original" resolution, and ACTUAL, locally running games in 4K, is night and day.

4K is pointless for console gaming since you are probably gaming on a couch 2-5 meters away versus PC where you game 0.5-1 meters away thus you can benefit from every pixel on screen. But it is a waste of money and resources... 1080p will satisfy us for 10-20 years to come.
