Ugh I'd hate to play with that thing on the head, unless it's Gran Turismo, then I would feel like I have some kind of helmet XD

Who didn't expect Crytek's logo to be there? lol

Crytek's logo is there because of CryEngine, considering they are really pushing the Engine they would want to make sure it supports the latest technologies and make sure its on the best selling platform.

Can you guys imagine what playing Outlast would be like with this thing?

I was thinking the same thing! It will be amazing!

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Ugh, I dont want a freaking VR headset!

lol  Then just don't buy it.

I also have a problem resisting new gaming tech... However, if this thing is $300+ i probably wont have a problem resisting it.  Still, I would prefer these gaming companies to spend their time on something different!

Luckily you have no say in the matter.

I´ve never tried VR before, have no idea what it feels like to "be inside the game" (is that the correct definition?), but maybe, if done right, it could do wonders for certain genres, like survival horror :)

To those who say they don´t want VR, just curious, have you ever had the chance to use it?..like, the Oculus kits or something?

No they haven't!

I have - and everyone else I know who has freaks out about it. It's a game changer. No pun intended.

Really, it's controversial to think that the R&D and production costs of this would hurt Sony if this thing doesn't sell?

It's 'built upon pre-existing tech...' Yeah, so was the Viao line and their TVs. You can see from all the features pulled into be in this that they are doing a lot of R&D. Hope it doesn't blow up in their face.

I think it's kind of crap how Occulus Rift, made by a small company, is doing all the preliminary, hard work and investment and then when they prove consumer interest, big established companies are swooping in with fat sacks of cash and trying to beat them to market.

I thought this was something that Sony has had in development or had been working on for years now? Or are you just meaning other big companies? THough I could be wrong about Sony but I could swear they have been hinting at this for a LONG time.
