Forums - Microsoft - Important information to enhanced your Titanfall experience.

I will get straight to the point get a headset for playing your Xbox one games. If you want to get the most out of Titanfall and your like me and just have your TV speakers for sound, I highly advice to get a headset. Not only will you no longer annoyed other members in your house with loud sounds, but more importantly the sounds in Titanfall are amazing. Furthermore, the grunts and AI keep giving out clues on were the enemy pilots are located or if they're in the area. Having the headset as made the game even more satisfying and might acutally improved your game performance.

I actually bought and tried both headset the Microsoft Xbox one headset USD$79.99 & the Titanfall Headset retails for USD$149.99.

The microsoft headset is by far the best value. But, don't worry about the value price your getting a sleek head set.

The headset is very comfortable even for extended play session 5-7 hours is what I played.

The Microsoft heaset only support stero sound but it's still does sound amazing. In any case as of right now the Xbox one controller only support stereo sound, therefore you would get no benefit of a surround sound heaset.

One of the nicest feature is how the microphone can be tuck away inside the headset when not in use.

I returned my Microsoft Headset and got the Titanfall headset since I really liked the look of it.

The Headset sound quality seem slightly better. The headset is very comfortable but is slightly tighter then the Microsoft headset and could create a disconfort on long play session. The headset comes with a removable microphone which is convenient if your not going to use it.

The best part is that this headset is compatible with Xbox 360, Xbox One, Mac & PC, Tablets, smartphones, handheld & PS4.

You are paying a mark up for the Titanfall branding on this headset, this headset is equivalent to the Ear Force XO Four which retails for $99.99.

Overall, I would recommend the microsoft headset if your just looking for a good quality headset. Until a future update let's you have full surround sounds form the headset the microsoft headset is best bang for your bucks. If your willing to spend a bit more money and not that into Titanfall, I would recommend the Ear Force XO seven which retails at usd$169.99.

Around the Network

I lucked out. I have a wired Turtle Beach Headset that outputs the audio for anything connected to my TV. The mic works for PS3 and 360 (and possibly the Wii U! I never thought about trying it until just now.). Titanfall is so fast paced that I just don't see headphones as a benefit like I did with Call of Duty, though. I'll try it with Titanfall, today.

I have the XO 4 already.
