i say spend 580 on a damn good PC that will have much more potential than the consoles

LOL, $580 on a ''good'' PC ?

Well, be ready to upgrade it in a year or so, because with that pricetag, you won't be running games on high for more than a year.

This is why people have such a bad view on PC gamers. Look, PC is my preferred gaming platform, but a $580 PC does NOT have more potential. Will it have more raw power? Sure. But consoles have games that are optimized for them. A $580 PC isn't gonna last more than 2 years before games look better on consoles.

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Think X1 has better exclusives at the moment but PS4 looks better in the long run.

Exactly

I use to say it like this. Game developers keep up for the consoles, while the PC needs to keep up for the games.

For you, neither. The first 2 years are for fans of every brand. I stick with Sony because I know all the studios and ips they have but that's subjective.

Well, Ps4 hasn't got Dead Rising 3 and Infamous hasn't released yet, so Xbox One all the way!

But Capcom

Neither. Go buy a PS2, or an N64. Fuck modern gaming.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Well you have Killer Instinct, Forza 5, and Dead Rising 3 vs KZ: Shadowfall when comparing big launch exclusives. While numerically outmatched, KZ is critically less favoured then other FPS juggernauts COD and BF4. X1 wins launch games by a long shot.

2014 paints a similar picture where it has timed release of Plants VS Zombies and giving away Titanfall with purchase. Essentially that's $60 free when buying the X1. Infamous is for you if you like the genre and got bored with GTA 5/Saints Row 4, but Sony ain't giving it away for free with PS4. It certainly isn't making that big a splash in the industry as Titanfall is.

Also like it or not, Kinect included is great for convenience purposes, whether it be navigating the marketplace, your media, video chat, and enhancing games,

Why do you always include Killer Instinct in the X1, but never talk about games like Resogun, Don't starve, Outlast etc? Resogun was the highest rated exclusive launch title, and yet you always seem to dismiss it, but you don't do the same for Killer Instinct.

Killer Instinct is a dedicated fighter, meant to last the entire generation and improve with it, and not a mere indie title that will be forgotten in half a year.

Grouping both games together just because they are digitally distributed is very flawed thinking. With digital on the rise, games available now and future will not be exclusivly indie in nature.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

It all comes down to what type of games you like, really. But overall, if you have to get one right this instant, then the Xbox has a slightly better line up of games right now. However, if you can wait, or want to stick it out for the long haul, then the PS4 is the easy choice.
