As the title states. Lets have some speculative punts as to which next gen title will have the best meta score.

The software can be multi format so long as it is NOT released on a 7th gen format.

Elligible formats:

PC
PS4
Wii U
Xbox One

Not including handhelds in this one.

Personally I'm actually leaning towards Mario Kart 8 at the moment. The new take on the course design could really elevate the experience. Also for me personally, Mario Kart on home consoles seems to do a strike and a miss. i.e. LOVED Super Mario Kart, merely liked Mario Kart 64, LOVED Double Dash, was completely indifferent to Mario Kart Wii. So that conclusively proves that Mario Kart 8 will be the best one yet!

Obviously there are lots of other grand looking contenders.

What games are you guys expecting to be the king of meta this year on the shiny newer systems and more recently upgraded PCs?

So next-gen only huh? Well that leaves games like CoD and AC5 out since those will be on PS3 and X360... I think Mario Kart 8 might do it. Yes, the Wii U might not be the best console, but the game looks absolutely fantastic. Maybe The Division, however I doubt that will release this year.
Also, maybe we should only count $60/full priced games? If we count all games, games like Heartstone will also have a shot I think.

seeing as Xenoblade had a 92 Meta i can see X doing better since the game looks to have evolved everything from Xenoblade, so i'll go with WiiU because of X and MK8.

MK never got that good rankings, especially the latest entries. Xenoblade Chronicles stands at 92 so I guess there's a good chance for X.
 The really big hitters for PS4/X1 get released next year so it's tough to tell.
 Contenders might be The Division or Transistor.

Smash Bros. should get something in the 90-95 range. I think nothing else will get a higher score this year.

Mario Kart is a good bet, but Smash Bros. tends to earn higher marks. Is Uncharted 4 coming this year? If so, that could claim the top score. And we can't ignore indies like Below and The Witness.

Really, it's a crap shoot. I guess I'll go with Smash Bros. on WiiU with a 93.

Im sure I also heard that destiny was cancelled on PS3 and 360, but now I cant find any links and its still on sale at a lot of places including Amazon UK.
Maybe it actually is coming out on next gen?

Anyway, my guess is driveclub. I think it will be the game everyone was expecting GRID 2 to be.
