I think they should do it like Microsoft did and launch the 3DS version 2 weeks later.

I think the wii u version will sell REALLY well if the melee fanboys don't attack it as much as Brawl. Seriously why hate on a sequel of a great game just because it has one or two features you don't like?!

It is a good move, i don't see 3DS eating that much of Wii U cake and at the same time 3DS will have a really powerful holydays seller. You guys are giving 3DS selling power as a given, but it need great games to keep having that.

With this, instead of selling 2M on Wii U in the first weeks, they are going to have 2M on Wii U and over 6M in 3DS.
Long term i see 5M at leats on Wii U and over 10M on 3DS easily, and Nintendo need this money to keep being able to support Wii U.

would 2 weeks really make a difference? Do you think people are that impatient that they would rather spend 300+ than wait 2 weeks and spend 40? I know me personally I would wait the two weeks.

I think it would at least increase the value of the Wii U version.

i honestly wouldve prefered a WiiU only version. this will split the userbase a lot and thats not good...for WiiU at least

financially it makes sense due to low WiiU HW installbase

I guess we will have a basis to draw conclusions when we see how it worked for Microsoft with Titanfall.

not a good comparison in any case. Have you seen ANY footage of the 360 version? MS very much wants to act as if Titanfall is an One exclusive. Where as Ninty isnt setting up the 3ds version for failure. Its been there day one and has actually been shown.
