So I have only been here a relatively short time and I have noticed a few trends.

Firstly, the PlayStation Nation and Xbox One Nation threads are often full of people talking about the opposite console and the fans of those consoles, go figure.

Next, there is a lot of bickering in individual threads regarding the big three, although it seems that is mainly focused around Microsoft and Sony.

Finally, there are A LOT of review comparisons. A game that scores an 80 on metacritic is not vastly inferior to a game that scores a 90, as at the end of the day that score comes from the individual opinions of reviewers. I played Knack and thoroughly enjoyed it, and that is the only "measure" or "score" that I need. I do want to add though that predicting the Metacritic score is very good fun.

So those are the trends, and this is how I want to stop them. This thread is to be dedicated to games on any and every platform, be it mobile (yes, I said mobile!), Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PC, Mac, or even Ouya. In this thread we will discuss games that are on the horizon, games we are hoping will be announced, games we used to love, games we still love, just anything and everything related to the hobby we love! By posting in this thread you agree to put all bias aside, and if you fail to do so you will be reported.

So, who's up for a good old discussion about gaming?

Haha, a little stealth trolling is nice every now and then, but I thought it might be nice to have a place to retreat to every now and then to talk games.

Honestly, I don't even enter the Nation threads. I think they are a mess.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is basically designed to turn into a flame war.

Part of the fun is having preferences and debating on what platform is the best as each and every platform has some advantage over the other.

I am a Playstation guy but I do think it would be cool to play a game such as Terraria on the Xbox One while listening to South Park =P

But more on the topic I can not wait to play Infamous and DW8 later this month! :) Also Daylight, Outlast DLC, and Child of Light next month!

Oh no, debate is absolutely fine when it is backed up by logic, it is the mindless bickering that is awful.

I'm also a PlayStation guy, at least I am this generation (had the 360 last-gen), but I cannot wait to see the first footage of Crackdown. I loved the first game, it was so much fun to play! Also looking forward to inFAMOUS and Dynasty Warriors, although I think I have to wait a little longer for the latter as it releases in April in Europe.

Yeah, I try not to get pulled in the mindless bickering. It is pointless. I have never played Crackdown what is it about? Is it fun? I would not mind an excuse to get an Xbox One. I have no interest in Kinect and 500$ is more than I am willing to pay for it though

I will do something like my friend did, he bought an Xbox One off ebay without Kinect for 200$!

I hate video games. I only play them so I can complain.
