The Titanfall bundle is up to #72 on Amazon's Bestseller's of 2014, and it did it in only 2 weeks out of 9, it gained 7 places just today. XB1 sales for the week of Mar 9-Mar 15 are going to be big, all of those Titanfall bundle preorders will be coming in all at once, plus sales from throughout the week.

It will provide a boost, but looking at the march bestsellers, the bundle is at #10.  Comparing to January, the XBone was at #16.

My guess is 250% boost, so about 170K worldwide for TF launch week.

If it was a true Xb one exclusive I would have said more like 300-350% boost.

A great result for TF, but not exactly a game changer in the broader context of PS4 vs. Xb one war for console supremacy.

By contrast, and only because of proximity of launch date and not for any other reason, because PS4 is coming from a bigger baseline level of sales I think Infamous boost will be less than double current weekly sales.

Ps4 wont get any boost, doesnt need one they are still selling what they can make so there won't be an infamous boost.

Of course it will. Unless the only units available that week are the inFamous bundles. You don't have a >300K pre-ordered game (USA alone) this early in a generation wiithout a hardware boost. Wii got hardware boosts from significant software releases even when it was selling at levels higher than PS4. I reckon baseline demand, now that Japan has shown itself to be not fanatical about PS4, is pretty in line with baseline supply, so I don't think there will be significant shortages of standard PS4s.

The next numbers are going to be very interesting. I wonder by how much xb1 will lead?

It won't.

Why so sure? PS4 will drop again next week.

Why would PS4 drop?

Japan, and the console it was already droping a little bit in the rest of the world.

Umm because stock was diverted to Japanb, Sony had their first shipment in weeks last week and ps4 was #1 on amazon for days.........going to go up this week in the US. PS4 is not going to keep dropping it is still selling out.................

Still in stock at GameStop.com and has been.

And no I am not talking about the Infamous bundle that is avaiable next week. I am talking the COD bundle that has been in stock.

Good to hear.

Where do you see March bestsellers at? There's only the year so far and hourly charts from what I've seen. It's at #8 on the hourly charts right now.

Also, don't forget that the Titanfall bundle wasn't alone for the last 2 weeks, the Standard Edition was in the 30's on the hourly bestsellers chart at first and has slowly dropped down to it's current #75. Even at #75 it's still ranked much higher than the Wii U is currently, even though there's a Wii U bundle on sale right now for $239.

You have to manually enter the month in the url.

TF bundle is #10 and non bundle is #70.

However this chart does not include todays sales yet, so it's only pre-orders of the TF bundle. Shouldn't make too much of a difference, but I think it's worth mentioning.

I think a more telling stat is the games.

#3 XBONE Titanfall
#8 PS4 MGS
#10 XBONE TF Bundle
#13 PS4 Infamous
#26 PS4 COD
#27 PS4 NFS
#32 PS4 Killzone
#39 PS4 Batman
#44 PS4 Fifa
#52 PS4 AC4
#54 PS4 NBA2K
#56 PS4 B4
#62 PS4 Watchdogs
#68 XBONE MGS
#85 XBONE COD
#95 PS4 Theif

Titanfall is doing great, but everything else is close to Wii U levels.

Microsoft basically branded and marketed this to be a system seller. I mean, they're even freaking including it WITH the system at no additional cost! If that's not enough to make a game a "system seller" then I don't know what is.

The Walmart where my brother works got 8 Titanfall bundles and sold all 8 today. Idk about games, but comparing the amount of copies to something like CoD is just silly. Userbase and all.

Either way it seems to be a great hit for Respawn, EA, and MS.

Tropical Freeze sold systems too :^)
