Forums - Gaming - I'm not buying another console.

As a PS/PC gamer Ive been fine without Nintendo games for over a decade. I own a WiiU and hate its guts, with a passion. Ill be fine without nintendo for another decade if push came to shove. DLC is for die hard fans and most games are perfectly fine without it. Losing out on every 3rd party game for Nintendo games will never be an option for me.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

Oh no.  Why blame 3rd parties for ditching the WII U when their software isn't selling on it?  And if you don't like DLC then don't buy it.  IF Smash or Mario Kart had DLC I'm sure loads of fans would be more than happy to buy additional content to help longevity in games they love.

This thread is going to end well..

A damn good game which has the most playtime on my U. Haven't touched WindwakerHD since I got ME3 about 2 months ago. Thank the evil lazy EA bastards >_>

it's to bad you have the ps3 version of red dead, its a beautiful game on 360.

Yeah, well, Xbox has near to no exclusive games I wanna play, so why get it? =)

well early in the generation, 360 multplatform games were much better, had some nice exclusives and halo.

And that's why you have a PC and wait until late in the gen to get the console you want ;) X360 really has fewer exclusive games that I'm interested in, so PS3 was a much better fit for me. And PC usually has the best versions ^^

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

PC only. Fuck the Wii U, PS4 and Xbone.

You are delusional if you think Nintendo is above taking advantage of you.

Pssst. PC developers/publishers take advantage of you too. Just because Steam itself has risen a very user-friendly platform, doesn't mean that all PC developers/publishers are user friendly. In fact, many, such as Activision/Blizzard and Bethesda (just as obvious examples) aren't.

I don't have to pay to play online on PC. That's the selling point. Supporting Good Old Games is another plus.

I disagree with most DLC, it is a rip off and always will be for one reason, it's profitable for the companies that make them. What is worrying though is some DLC used to be on a disc in the game, just because we can buy things online doesn't mean we want to. I'm currently replaying X-men Legends, in the game it was extra costumes. In modern gaming these would never be in game, download only.

Tekken Tag 2 did it well, characters were bonus for preorders and such a like, the over time, all the characters were just given to every customer for nothing. Now that is customer service.

Hmm, pie.

I applaud you, good sir.

I also refuse to pay for online access. There is no reason for it. PC has lived for decades on free online play for its games AND the games tend to cost less. It is merely another way greedy corps are fucking us.

While the rest of you all have your lubed up asses, I'm sticking with Nintendo and its policy of hugs and high-fives.

So to 3rd parties (that don't put quality on Nintendo hardware) and MSony, I say rot in hell.

If Nintendo consoles can fill up your gaming needs, and you enjoy a lot what it has to offer, then just have fun and ignore the naysayers.

You don´t have to spend your hard-earned money on more devices if you don´t feel any need to have them.

In my case, I´m sticking with Nintendo this generation because I can´t afford more devices. A PC, a WiiU and a 3DS has more than enough to fill up my (and my family)  gaming needs. Besides, videogaming is too expensive in my country and I wouldn´t have spare time enough to enjoy more than that anyway.

People come with all the very, very, very old shitty talk about how Nintendo work their Ips, but the truth is that Nintendo always deliver great games, for anyone with open minds to try them. Dumbasses will always criticize you due to their empty-head brand loyalty. It´s irritating but in the end what really matters is your enjoyment.

Just have fun and ignore people who don´t want to have fun.

Im glad I never bought a wii..or wii U those consoles lifespan lasted ...what? 3 years tops?...no major games for either that didnt look like crap...

You can't wholly blame third parties for what they are doing.

Alot of gamers care primarily about power and graphics.
Top end graphics take alot of time and money to create.
To make more money companies had to look for other ways to get it.
