@ethomaz,, I never said it had no framerate issues. i said no one mentioned it dropping to single digits per second. Gamingbolt seem to be the only one mentioning it.. Maybe it was a rare occurence or a bug? Even the tweet you posted proved that there wasn't any single digit frame rate. Dropping frame rate is fine as long as it not to significant. If i remember alot of sony fans including yourself ,, loved KFSF multiplayer right? That didn't didn't have a stable frame rate either. The highest it went was 50fps and the lowest it went for 30. it seems that titanfall has similar issues. More disappointing for KZSF as it was lower res then titanfall so 60 fps considering dat extra power,, should be a synch right :). Titanfall is going to be fun regardless of graphics and performance issues which can be patched up.

Target but the devs said the PS4 version is running at 1080p without optimizations while the Xbone is running at 720p... both 60fps unlocked (not solid 60fps).



@ethomaz wheres the link that says sniper elite 3 atm is running at 720p on xbone. Would love to read it



Obviously I haven't experienced 1080p games on console yet. But I am very happy with the look of 720p games on PS3 on my 48" TV.

Personally, I think if TF could have gotten rock solid 60fps with 720p and 2xMSAA that would have been a great experience.

However everyone would focus on the 720p and no doubt X360 version will play at 720p. So Respawn obvioulsy felt they needed to have a resolution above the 360 version or suffer from all sorts of totally unwarranted criticism.

Serious question: do those extra 72 lines make any real difference to the player? Esp. compared to how much of a difference frame rate drops make to the player.

If TF could have shipped at fixed 60fps at 720p then it should have, with optimisation patches progressively raising resolution but always keeping 60fps locked.

The Digital Foundary analysis will be interesting. If the framerate drops are infrequent and relatively small (never going below 45?) then perhaps the sacrifice for 72 more lines is reasonable.

NZ gameplanet reviewed titanfall and gave it 9,5 out of 10. their only complain was lag. no performance problem for them

Certain people in this thread making claims with no proof. Trying to downplay certain devs because it doesnt fit the 50% extra powerz claims. At the end of the day you have people here saying killzone is perfectly fine with sub hd visuals in multiplayer and a framerate that fluctuates between 29.3 fps and 50.2 fps.

But at the same time saying titanfall is crap with a higher res than killzone and a framerate that does actually hit 60 fps. And titanfalls maps are bigger to. Not to mention the big arse titans are being rendered also. All on an engine thats dated.

You must be taking about the PC version. Because ive played both versions and the xbone is no were near a stable 60fps. Where do you get that Titanfall is higher res. 960x1080>1280x792

LOL Since when? I will say it does not absolutely ruin a game but it is extremely annoying
