Strategy games by quite a wide margin I think, and after that it's a tie between action-adventure, platformers and RPGs (if we consider both Jrpgs and Wrpgs).

How can you even play action adventures longer than RPGs? A long action adventure is like 30h while a long RPG is easily 100+.

So my top 20 favorite RPGs probably account for more time than all other games I ever played combined.
