Holy crap, that trailer was all kinds of awesome.
Really stupid of Square to sit on this game for so long and let it come to this. I'd have paid silly amounts of money for an official version of this. They could've ported it to Vita; or 3DS; or PS3 but instead they just decided to do nothing. Oh well.
The most impressive part about that page was this, too:
"-Then there are many people who think an official localization would kill all our work. That’s not true; at this point, an official localization would mostly help reach our objective, which is to bring this game to all Final Fantasy fans. In fact, the E3 would have ended by August, so maybe there are good news for everyone!"
It sounds like he's actually proposing that the release date is so late so that they can cancel the release should an official version get announced at E3. That really is dedication to the cause. Hats off to him.
