Currently you can make your 3.01 FW Vita a CFW PSP so long as you have Persona 2 Innocent Sin or other games downloaded on it. 

There's a downside to this.  Once Vita firmware is updated you won't be able to use PSN.  You can still play Vita games, go online, use functions like Netflix, email, etc, but no party chat, no online, etc until you upgrade.
