If I had to live with only one console, I'd choose the PS2.
Edit: The fat PS2 that I have, so I can also play PS1 games :D

phone games are garabe.
id honestly rather have garbage atleast there are good things in the trash sometimes.
Wherever my friends are going. In this case ps4 cause we all met on ps3 and are now best friends. If they went to x1 I will probably will have to buy one BUT I will also get a ps4 lol.
3DS, it has Pokemon X... Or maybe between Gamecube and PS2... and PS1... And N64, or Wii, or SNES, or PC...
Forget that, between 3DS, Gamecube (even though I never owned one) and PS2.
Wait a second. Isn't this pretty much a different version of your "imagine" threads!?
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Probably 3DS. Access to the entire 3DS and DS libraries on the go. Only thing it's missing is a lot of Virtual Console games. That's what makes this a tough choice, as the Wii U has access to most of the top-notch games on every Nintendo home console ever (and soon the GBA and DS as well), but is not portable.

PC shouldnt count. It doesnt adhere to generations. Its kind of like cheating. The PS2 was the greatest console of all time imho outside of sales. Whatever game you wanted it pretty much had.

Why be a sheep lol?
Outside of the PC I would have to say PS4. I believe Playstation now could really do it for me in terms of backwards compatibility.
Then there's Kingdom hearts 3, Final fantasy 15, Metal gear solid 5 and Destiny that won't be making it to PC. On top of Sony's first party studios and there's no way I could resist. I would just think that people would miss out more in terms of games if they only PC.
PS+ doesn't hurt either it offers a lot of value. I'm not saying it trumps steam sales and free online but it comes close in terms of value.
PS4 is second to only PC in terms of performance in terms of multiplatform games.
The PS4 is also getting the PC's best F2P games and indie's which no other platform is getting.
