Just wanted to share a small experience I had with a gamestop while I purchased my xbox one. Rated B for BS

First, for anyone looking for one in Quebec, Canada, no need to worry, they had like 10-12 on the shelves (real boxe) + a load backstore where they got mine.

So I asked for mine to the front desk person and tell him as a joke that I am willing to try the 720p side of gaming...which he did not find funny at all lol. Than he started, telling me they ran some comparison in store with 2 tv side by side and that there were no difference at all, identical on every multi plat. A second GS employee showed up backing all the first one said. 

They brought the argument that the video showing difference were bs. Than came the funniest part, they told me that the only difference was the gpu but that the difference gap was not that big because xbox1 have 8 of ram while ps4 had only 4...

I was really laughing my A Off, all that BC told by the person who are paid to sell something they are supposed to know...this was like 1 month ago.

Bought my ps4 and xbox1 at that same store but I really think the manager of each store should teach a few things to their employees instead of letting them spread bs information.

side note, the manager of that gamestop is a cool dude, he also told me that a third of its xb1 sales come from people who wanted a ps4 but could not find any, impossible to find a ps4 here on the shelf since it released, that same gamestop only received 3 shipment that inst sold after the release date. (According to the manager)

They generally are quite biased or inexperienced.

Well, its a real life story bro, they spread misinformation, even worse than a car dealer trying to push you to buy their brand...but the car dealer doesnt sell both brand so there is a reason for its bias toward what he sell...

Yeah, I agree he was talking nonsense.

But the logical thing to do should have been to roll his eyes at your 720p remark and move on.

I bought South Park from the Gamestop in Statesboro, Ga. The saleswoman was incredibly cute and funny. Not sure about the bias but she knew her South Park. She also got me the pre-order DLC even though I didn't pre-order.

Despite microsofts enromous support and spending; PS4 is still selling like hotcakes. This is old video. But its great.

Also this. But despite all the negativity towards PS4 people are getting the better system.

Gamestop around my place has been quite informed about most things gaming. They even knew some stuff that I didn't know. As for the xbone vs ps4, the only thing negative I heard was during the always online fiasco. They seem pretty neutral in general though.

To be fair, that was kinda needed to clear up many misconceptions.
