Forums - Gaming - Watch_Dogs downgradeaton confirmed

It seems obvious to me now, that Watch Dogs after its reveal, was transformed into a game that needed to work in PS3/X360/WiiU to sell a lot of copies, leaving PS4/X1 versions like nothing more than "remaster versions" like Assassin's Creed IV or Call of Duty Ghosts. With those games, coming from franchises that were based on 7th gen I can understand what they did, but Watch Dogs, is basically a new IP for next gen, so it needed to bring new things that weren't possible last gen, and i'm not seeing any.

To me, it looks like GTA V in 1080p 30fps. This is clearly a cross gen game, and not the hyped "next gen starts here" game that was announced in 2012 or even was showed during 2013....

My PC is ready

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

I love that Gamespot preview. Such great use of color. The best I've seen from the game so far, which seemed all dark and broody at first, but looks more and more flamboyant the more I see from it, almost like a Mario game. It's shaping up to be a great title, can't wait. :)

if FarCry 3 is an indication of whats to come. PC version won't look as good as that 2012 reveal too. Farcry still looked good though.
