So PC it is.

I don't get it.... Ps4 is 10 times ps3.. Yet watch dogs looks just OK... Like not a big upgrade from last gen

mM

PC for sure on this one, the new footage looked heavily downgraded and that was confirmed PS4 footage. Can only hope the PC version is closer to the reveal footage.

Man I'm starting to think that the infinite power of the cloud was just bullshit

Isn't the new XBOX update out by then?

Also the 960p seems to be confusing some people. Going off the op, here's how it stacks up.

720p: 921,600 pixels
960p: 1,228,800 pixels
1080p: 2,073,600 pixels

EDT: OP seems to have jumped the gun on saying it was 1280X960. Ignore this post.

so if its 4:3, surely they must be using a technique like killzone shadowfall to get it to 1080p. I highly doubt they will just stretch the image.

There are some rumors that the new SDK is already out. Not sure if it is or not. If it's not out yet but gets sent to developers before Watch Dogs releases, I could see the Xbox One's resolution improving some before release. Supposedly the new SDK enables tiled resources.

I highly doubt the resolution would change, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

You incorrectly used a 4:3 aspect ratio (1280x960) to determine the pixel count.  To scale properly to 16:9 (which the game will be), this is the proper math:

960p (1707x960): 1,638,720 pixels

No, I correctly used a 4:3 aspect ratio. According to the op, the game is running at 1280X960.

960p is a weird resolution...
