At Gamescom 2013 mario kart 8 had only a little map and a horn on the gamepad, do you think Nintendo add some features ? 

And what is with Super Smash Bros? Do YOU have ideas, what Nintendo could do with the Gamepad ?

I heard a whisper that Mario Kart 8 has a Track Editor. That might be done using the Gamepad Touch-screen. The normal gameplay for Mario Kart 8 does not use the Gamepad. Iwata in his conference call had mentioned Mario Kart 8 will use Gamepad for something that justifies the Gamepad's existence.

I don't think Smash Bros will use Gamepad. Sakurai is already on record saying he is not interested in that.

Adding a special Gamepad feature that give people advantage in Smash Bros would mean Sakurai killing himself.

Super Smash Bros: instead of playing as a character, you control the stage(plus all the stage hazards). You can change the direction of certain platforms, blow characters away, control stage hazards like Ridley on a Metroid stage, you can make any item appear whenever you want, etc.

Well, there's also Gyro-controls with the Gamepad for Mario Kart if that counts, as well as off-TV play. I can't imagine anything else other than what they already revealed for Mario Kart.

No. Nothing that they wouldn't already be able to do on screen. Maybe for Mario Kart 8, they'll have the map you're racing on and your position (things that can just as easily be done on T.V.). But Smash will most likely be an empty screen.

Edit: Smash is a fighting game, so having anything useful on the second screen would be distracting. Maybe they could do it like the Dreamcast and show text instead: "Awesome combo". "Rad!". "Ring Out!"

Maybe you'll be able to press the screen in Smash to use a Final Smash rather than having to use the B button - just have a large glowing button to hit - would be cool xD

I think it has been confirmed that in the E3 demo you have a honk on your screen. Offcaurse alot could have change by then and they may have made something way awsomer but I doubt it.

MK and Smash are games multiplayer focused where single player is pretty much non existent. So it would'nt be fair for the other 3 (or hopefully 4) players playing w/o the gamepad.

You may see it used for Stage maker or other customisation aspects of the game tho.
