Then that's your deluded perception on things, obviously your to worried about what other people will think of you for playing games such as these, violent games in my opinion are for immature people who thinks it makes them cool and how they would look to others, PS1 was never a "mature" system, Gamecube had games like resident evil, geist, eternal darkness etc

Nintendo fans are the biggest fanboys in gaming they defend ANYTHING Nintendo does and that's why Nintendo continues to drop turds on them and not give them what they want because they know their fans are gonna eat it up.

Sony knows better because when they mess up (EARLY PS3 days) sony fans jumped ship and purchased Xbox360's to teach them a lesson and sony got their act together and cut the price and started putting out games.

When Microsoft put out the whole DRM nonsense it was Sony fans who were bashing Microsoft and trying to get the policy changed for MIcrosoft fans yet there were still Microsoft fanboys who created a petition to keep the DRM policy. lol

Listen when you voice your opinion and let your favorite company know that YOU'RE the boss and if they don't do what you want you won't support them you get the PS4 (The most powerful console of this generation at only $399)

Microsoft fans don't even bash "Games for Gold" that whole rewards program microsoft offers is a JOKE compared to the competition PSPlus and that's because Sony fans voice their displeasure for the most part compared to Nintendo and Microsoft. 

Nintendo fans will you rise up and start voicing your displeasure with Nintendo so we can FINALLY get the Nintendo console we ALL DESERVE? Or will you continue to praise everything NIntendo does? SMH

I think you're the one with tbe deluded perception (Not entirely, though) Violent games can be for anyone that enjoys that, not just COD kids trying to grow up too fast. I agree that PS1 wasn't a very mature system, (Biggest games were Crash and FF7) but GameCube had less mature games than PS1. Also, Resident Evil 4 was a timed exclusive.

RE began on PS1. Also PS1 had Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, Syphon Filtet and Gran Turismo. Also do you realise that some people like to play violent games because they might have incredible gameplay?

Question about x86 and PowePC:
Consoles for the last generation of consoles all were PPC. Did "everybody" in the industry see it as a natural progression to take the step to x86?
Did Nintendo miss signs of the time that all others could see?
Did something change during the time from WiiU final arcitechure to Spring 2013 when MS and Sony finalized their new consoles?
