Dude, I lost one of my brothers not so long ago in real life.  I still have a big box of his stuff on my floor that I haven't figured out what to do with.  I have to walk around every day.  It was pretty hard and not something I expected in what I thought would be a fun little anime looking game.  I actually got kind of mad at first, "I don't want to have to deal with this right now.  And oh yea, he was a 'big brother' too.

It was my brother that first showed me Anime.  We would have to watch most of it in Japanese with English subtitles.  He was the one that first started teaching me how to program and write games.

Yea, that's kind of how I felt playing it - Daammit!  Really game?  You have to go there?  It's really different when it's your reality rather than just something to see actors or character interpret.  It is still somewhat surreal. 

I did try to see if I could play the game differently and have a different outcome.

And hay, you shouldn't feel bad - unless you are the one that gave him cancer.  You asked if the story was moving, and yes, yes it was.

It was around the same time a good friend lost his mom. Full Metal Alchamest Spoiler:  Some other friends wanted to show him Full Metal Alchemist, and I was like – no, let’s not watch that.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
