Doesn't sound good... It means that the rumors that they're capable of working on 2 games at the same time were wrong and the new game needs at least another 2-3 years.

back around E3 they stated they are not big enough for 2 teams.

I think developing on the Wii was the same as wearing two condoms.

Nintendo will never let a Western studio develop their own IP from scratch again IMO. Next Level Games is probably working on Luigi's Mansion 3 and if EAD is bored of Mario Kart, Retro will probably get Mario Kart 9.
