March’s set of free games for Xbox Live Gold Members in will be Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution and Dungeon Defenders.

 
Starting Saturday (March 1st) Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution (Normally US $29.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through March 15th .

Then on March 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Dungeon Defenders (Normally US $14.99) for free.

The “Games With Gold” program gives Xbox LIVE Gold Members 2 free games to keep each month. A new title will be available the 1st and 16th of each month.

I want Dungeon Defenders, but ugh I'm conflicted.
My XBL subscription just expired last month and I don't play Xbox very much, my brother who has my nice Xbox mainly plays L4D2 with my cousin. And they'll go 20$ each if I go 20$ so there's the 60$, but I'd rather get 2-4 steam games than XBL Gold, though I want Dungeon Defenders.

Civilization is a masterpiece no matter the platform. It can be on Ouya and it will get 91% metacritic. Don't disrespect Sid Meier's platform choice!

We go from demanding free games to being entitled prudes when we get them.

24 free games that you can actually keep. Even if you actually enjoy 5-10, the subscription pays for itself. I mean, older games are still fun, don;t know why everybody assumes it has to be newish to be considered worth it.

Ill get Civ, not DD though.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I remember back in 2008 when I picked up Civ Rev on PS3, was all excited to get back into this world. After a few hours into it, it was fair to say this console version is a handicapped B rated shell of it's more refined PC versions.

Civilization Revolution is a dumbed down version of the series. I'd recommend checking out Civ V over it. Now that's a game you can pour thousands of hours into.
