Who are Climax studios?

Anyway, I got the first game for free after the PSN outage, but never played it. I may give this a chance since I get it for free again and I did really like Super Stardust and Resogun. Though I am more interested in what that second game is now I know it's not this

As for the 30fps, I guess I would rather 60fps, but if I'm getting it free I'm not complaining. A bit lazy on their part especially as with a twin stick shooter like this, you'd think that they'd have been targeting 60fps on the PS3 to begin with

But if it wasn't a problem then, it should be fine now. Especially if it's free for PS+!

Try it. If you have someone to play coop with, it is awesome (and quite difficult). I loved it so much that I bought the DLC as soon as I finished it.

Around the Network

I guess everything would run twice as fast, just as NFS rivals set to 60fps on pc goes crazy.
Probably a bigger issue with a topdown scroller, hard coding the game mechanics to frame time makes a lot of things easier to code and runs more efficiently, but doubling the frame rate would require thousands of little changes.

The first one was fun for a playthrough, will be nice to revisit.

I'll probably try the PS4 version, though I am away from my baby for the next 3 weeks, so it will be competing with inFamous Second Son.... (also all this the Last of Us press and Left Behind DLC makes me want to give it a go on survivor + {if I can glitch it to go straight there rather than actually having to play survivor first})
