thanks for that link. it appears that the GTX is slightly more powerful, but not powerful enough to justify the higher price, i'd rather go with the cheaper option (i'm going to college in the fall). thanks for the help sir!

 do you have experience with AMD cards? I was leaning more towards the 270x because of mantle, and the fact that both the Xbox one and the PS4 run amd cards.

From what I understand, AMD recently increased the prices of their cards. So I don't know how long you'll have to wait to get that price. =(

i actually read that article a few days ago, but from what i understand, AMD"s MSRP's havent changed, what the vendors are charging has. I think it's the whole supply and demand thing :/
