The GTX 760 packs a little more punch, but costs nearly 50% more...

But since it's still in your price range, I don't see a problem there.

So the GTX is the better bet? What about the price to performance ratio? while i have stated my budget, as i said before, i would love to keep it closer to 200$...

Watch this comparison and then judge which one is worth its price

thanks for that link. it appears that the GTX is slightly more powerful, but not powerful enough to justify the higher price, i'd rather go with the cheaper option (i'm going to college in the fall). thanks for the help sir!

HEY! I already explained all this before him! Even if I didn't post a link!

Pff... And he gets all the credit. =(

[EDIT:] Ha ha, I was just joking. But you replied to me before I hit the submit button.

You should check newegg and amazon. I'm in canada, and this is usually where I go to for parts: http://www.ncix.com/search/?q=r9+270x

I'd get the 270x personally.

do you have experience with AMD cards? I was leaning more towards the 270x because of mantle, and the fact that both the Xbox one and the PS4 run amd cards.

lol, thanks, those prices on the 270x are really good compared to some other websites, i'm hoping that when i'm ready to buy that the 270x should be closer to the MSRP of 200$

From what I understand, AMD recently increased the prices of their cards. So I don't know how long you'll have to wait to get that price. =(

i actually read that article a few days ago, but from what i understand, AMD"s MSRP's havent changed, what the vendors are charging has. I think it's the whole supply and demand thing :/
