I was really after a new game, and this one has caught my eye.

I now its not (or only just been) released but anyone had a chance to play it? I enjoy a good shooter game that is what this sounds like. But how does it play? is it complicated?

Any feedback appreciated as trying to decide whether or not to buy it

From what I played(4hours) it is awesome if you are getting it on xbox 360 the controls feel awesome. The gameplay feels like something new. Teamplay is an important thing, If you love plants vs zombies on smartphones you feel largely home. Garden ops is coop mode something like gears horde absolute fun. Artstyle is nice and game looks gorgeous. besides being a shooter it is a lot different from other shooters.

yes I played the game at my friend's house I am also looking to buy the digital version of the game but it si not available to download yet. I wanted to know why many of you guys are moving digital what is the fun in digital.

As a player who doesnt have any friends on XBox Live (im a proper Norman Bates) will I still get a good experience with it playing with random people?

yes you will enjoy the game with random people but it is more fun with friends or if you have a headset and others also have you guys can play very well.

I might go digital myself, as now you have to install the game off the disc to play anyway, aside from trade ins there is little benefit to buying a disc.

Though I do like having that shiny new box on the shelf :)

I will probably buy games I know im gonna enjoy in the long term on digital so I dont have to keep putting discs in, and those which dont have lasting appeal on disc.

Well I got the game and been playing it, and so far im dissapointed :(

It actually looks a really good game, but its so imbalanced, after about 20 games (playing either side) im yet to see the Zombies win a game : /

I was watching the Twitch feed on the Xbox One and it looks really fun. A not so serious and colourful shooter game.

It also looks really good! Smooth graphics.

Seems like it will be a good 'fun with friends' game.
