noone on earth has a reason to hate MS as much as EA.

I think EA is more worth then $ 10 billion. If that's the exchange market value, that doesn't mean you can buy a company for that price. Except if the company is in a terrible financial state and it would be a huge risk investment.
Once you entered you won't be the same anymore. A blog about life.

Yeah. Aside from Bioware there aren't any EA franchises that grab me.
They would lose their sports franchises, which are EA's bread and butter and thus it would end up being a pretty bad buy. Which is why MS wouldn't do it. They'd exclusivise Battlefield and Bioware franchises but would that be worth the price tag?

EA should merge with Capcom to form an ultimate rip yo off alliance, you'd pay $60 for a game, $4.99 for a password to safely unlock the case without damaging the disc, $19.99 to access full content of the disc, $14.99 for day one DLCs, $9.99 for the true ending, $9.99 to earn all achievements, and $14.99 to watch the game plays itself.

I'm kind of indifferent to both. M$ makes decent enough hardware but if they left tomorrow, I wouldn't be hurt. Meanwhile I haven't bought an EA game since Mass Effect 3. Need For Speed doesn't count because I bought it for the Vita. It's technically not a game.

I was thinking Restructured EA +MS = REAMS
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
That'd be the dead of the console industry, no doubt. Sony would lose so much, and MS would gain so much, it would be over.
