It's WayForward, right? Despite being a Shantae backer, i've never been really gaga for their work, but it also is never very poor, either.

No it is not Wayforward, the developer is Armature Studios, a group of ex-Retro Studios developers that created a new one also in Austin. It got decent to bad reviews for the handhelds

Its Armature Studios and this was their first original game...

Have to wonder if those guys wished they would have stayed with Nintendo. Though we'll see how Tropical Freeze really fares <_>

Sales prediction time.

I say less than 150k lifetime.

Edit - On Wii U of course. That said, I predict terrible numbers for every port.

the last one was RE revelations. the ps3 version managed around 500k but the 360 version only sold 170k, twice of the wii u version with 80k. bad all around but with no big discrepancy considering the installed base and it's just a late port to cash some more dollars.

This game is a lot different than the console games but I still thought it was fun. Cool boss battles.  It suffers from the same problem as all of the Batman games, imo, too easy combat.  Bought it opening day. I put a pseudo review of it in a thread somewhere a few months back.  I think it was the Vita thread.  Question, if you go back to your post history and find the post how do you get to the page it is on from there???  But yeah, don't go in expecting Arkham City.   Game was clearly designed around the 3DS and then ported to Vita.  It could have been a lot more if it were a Vita exclusive.  6.75-7/10

I don't think it will do particulary well on any consoles. Since it's digital only we may never know.

As for me, my brother already have the game on the 3DS, he is currently enjoying it. So if I ever want to play the game I'll just borrow it from him.

I hate this I just bought the 3ds game.....
After castlevania now this... third party keeps giving me more and more reason to not buy their games....

Btw what the F is with the long 360 name

"Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition for the PlayStation®3 system, Xbox 360® games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Wii U™"

rofl

They have to name it like that, Microsoft requirement.

Last I saw it looked like ass at best on the 3ds, but even bumped up to wiiu, its just a not fun game from what I can tell, at least for me it wouldnt be.

Lol @ Microsoft

I guess NIntendo should do the same?

"Next-Gen mainstream game" now available for the Playstation 3® system, Xbox 360® games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and the Nintendo Wii U™ which is not an accessory for Nintendo Wii™ but the next gen successor to  NIntendo Wii™ you know like the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™ was the successor to the Nintendo Entertainment System™"

Would help fix the confusion rofl

HA, I knew that they won't let be another drougth for this long. Rejoyce!

Not really.
