how do you come up with the numbers? Do you use some kind of software like for instance SSRS?

um no.
last gen the difference was not SLIGHTLY as you state
as far as i know i may be mistaken but so far this gen the difference have been FR and resolution something that can be hard to detect to the naked eye. i dont know about ya'll but missing actual effects/graphics is a much bigger deal for me

@freedquacker
Don't you ever get tired of your X1 bashing? This post is just as lame as your 'PS4 is as powerful as a high end PC but the X1 is not' post.

Awesome nitpicking. Why don't we try FF13 next, shall we?
Not bad. I mostly agree with what you said. I think first party titles will have more similar quality than third party, but the difference will still be substantial. And the ps4 will probably blow xbox one out of the water in 3rd party. I don't think the xbox one will ever acheive pixel parity with the ps4 though.

In that case you must be disappointed Forza chose not to have weather and day/night cycles to hit the 1080p/60 target....or is this the point where your opinion takes a twist?
the performance gap is bigger this gen than last gen in PS4 favor but so far were only seeing this being used on resolution and frame rate. last gen the 360 had the advantage in the graphics department gpu for gpu 360 had the advantage
but until we see xb1 multiplats having issues other than running at the same resolution and FR than last gen would show the bigger difference last gen not only did the ps3 have the lower resolution and FR but it also had to cut back on graphical assets and effects as shown in the above pic this was also the case on the big popular games like RDR and COD
as far as 1st party games in my opinion last gen the ps360 where about equal when comparing like for like situations you cant say KZ>halo b/c halo is much more open and has many more features go look at gears vs uncharted comparisons

Well, that was an approximation, an average, a trend. Sometimes it did hold, sometimes it didn't. The difference could be as large as 20% in X360's favor, sometimes the other way around, depending on the assets, type of the game, incentive, costs, and whether or not it was a multi-platform system. The point is, "with equal amount of effort, X360 will always perform better to a certain extent; however, given enough effort and first party access, PS3 has potential to performa better, but at a great cost"
