miyamoto in a recent interview (see numerous other threads) said that people are busier than ever and will tend to play fewer and fewer games of scope.
yesterday a friend lent me his TW Zelda, and... after 10 minutes in, i'm like, jeez, this game is gonna take me another 100 hours to finish. forget it. (motion sickness is also a factor, but that's just me)
4 months after getting my Wii, my favorite game is still Wii sports, by a long shot. wario comes second, but i lent it out to a friend.
but Zelda has sold over 1 mln copies in America... how many of them actually play it through to the very end? my friend who lent me Zelda played it for about 10 hours before giving up.
comments on just why Zelda is so popular in the US and how many of you actually finish the game?
the Wii is an epidemic.
