I didn't think TS2 was meant to be GC exclusive.

And no I don't see how TF is much like TS2 except in general game mechanics (FPS)

I remember TS2 being pitched as an exclusive (like RE4). The comparison is a very good game originally exclusive that could not be kept so because the console it was exclusive to had no userbadse to speak of.

I don't remember TS2 ever being GC exclusive, though I could be wrong. That would have been odd, considering the far more limited TS1 was PS2 exclusive. And frankly, while it was a good game, none of the versions of TS2 reached even close to a million in sales. Perhaps if it HAD been GC exclusive, and they had really played up the "from the makers of Golden Eye and Perfect Dark" angle, it might've faired better on one console than it did on three. Or who knows, maybe it was better that it went multiplat. *shrugs*

Regardless, I think Titanfall will be a solid game, but it's being way overhyped. I think that most people who are super into FPS are far more interested/hyped about Destiny, and sales will likely reflect that.

TF2 was a great game, but did not really make a diffence console sales wise(I put it with Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, CoDMW1, MW3 and Halo 2 for best shooters ever that). I think TF2 will be a good game at the worst and being exclusive to XB1 means seriously gimped sales. XB1 is not in a happy place, well unless a happy place is being buds with the Wii U sales wise....

 

A side note, if TF is really as fun as TS2 that I may have to.... get it for the PC.


"meant to be exclusive to GC" The hell are you talking about? Timesplitters 1 was a launch title of the PS2 and exclusive, why would they make the sequel exclusive on GC? Any source to this?
