Where's the hype for this game? It releases this week and virtually no one's even talking about it.

Yeah, I have zero faith in this game. Not only because it appears dumbed down beyond recognition and relevance but also because it has the two first ones to live up to; and that's quite a challenge. I will measure it against Thief: The Dark Project and Thief: The Metal Age, the third one wasn't all that good imo.
I was very pleasantly surprised by Deus Ex: Human Revolution and that was made by the same team, however; Deus Ex showed promise even in early gameplay videos and the Deus Ex franchise was always built on a somewhat more developer friendly skeleton (pure stealth games are hard, especially in 1st person).
