What do you think the best looking games of each generation was? Did you think an NES game beat the Master System? Did Genesis do what Nintendidn't? Tell everyone here! For 8th gen games, they have to have been released. You can include games in the same case as DKC is in since It's out in Japan.

I can't even think for the 80s stuff. But off the top of my head having a quick think I'd go with the following from the 4th generation onwards.

4th Generation - Yoshi's Island (SNES) - Honourable Mention: Axelay
5th Generation - Toughie, Ocarina of Time for me (N64) - Honourable mention: Ridge Racer Type 4
6th Generaton - Burnout Revenge (Xbox) - Honorable mention: Starfox Adventures
7th Generation - Uncharted 2 (PS3) - Honourable mention: Beyond
8th Generation - Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (PS4) - Honourable mention: Tearaway

I'm not going to go back too far.

Gen 5 ... I'd say Conker's Bad Furday

Gen 6 ... hard to say. So many games on GC and Xbox looked amazing. Starfox Adventures, Halo 2 and the RE games on the GC were among the best.

Gen 7 God of War Ascension or Crysis 3

Currently Ryse or KZ: SF

Uncharted 3 looked better than 2.. And god of war 3 was a monster.. Easily could be considered a current gen game.. Unfortunately tomb raider ps4 is barely ahead of uncharted 3/god of war.. Which is hilariouz

Gen 3: Kirby's Adventure
Gen 4: Donkey Kong Country or Street Fighter Alpha 2
Gen 5: Conquer's Bad Fur Day
Gen 6: Resident Evil 4 (GC) or Resident Evil 0 (GC) or Metroid Prime 2 or Wind Waker or Black (XBOX) or Ninja Gaiden Black or God of War 2 (6th gen is really hard to tell)
Gen 7: Uncharted 3 or Beyond: Two Souls
