You cant say, it needs the correct software, because nintendo has thrown every major franchise at it.

 

In fact the 3DS has dropped around 50% from last year, and that includes pokemon and the 2DS

Still the 3DS will battle it out with the PS4 about the best-selling system this gen and may well be winning it. This gen will see a horrible contraction.

Not really, 3DS is at 42m~ and may only sell 10m~ this year at current rates. If it drops off after that it'll really struggle to get past 70m.

Keep it up. Only got the PS4 left for doom talk.

I think many would be alright with the kind of doom the 3DS is having. Especially the Wii U and the Vita.

We could play with our 3DS instead of talking about it.

It's doing fine, it won't top the DS but it will sell decently.

This doesn't bode well for the handheld business of nintendo ... The fact that they have tried every bullet except for smash bros 3DS means that they'll have serious trouble hitting 70 mil.
