Microsoft is in huge trouble if they can't hold the line in the US. They should get to a price cut quickly AND I think they need to stop needling their customers after their initial purchase for things that should be included in the box. For example I would say that the controller being able to be charged shouldn't be an additional purchase. That should be standard.

Edit: i really think PS+ with all the games it offers is really helping ppl make thier decision. if you have to buy a console would you rather buy $500 less powah with a 60 sub fee or a $400 more powha 50 sub fee and tons of free content?

This is a classic example of wishful thinking (to claim this gotta be World wide, not NA only!).

Some Xbox fans still cannot fathom why PS4 is taking so much market share and what happened to the undefeatable XBOX BRAND.

I explained NUMEROUS times that Xbox Brand is MUCH smaller than it's thought to be and the American Consumer is the least loyal consumer base as I know, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It has various reasons like an incredibly diverse culture which doesn't allow for a certain brand loyalty en masse. There are 2 main characteristics of the American & Canadian Audience,

a) They are highly practical with short term memory. They appreciate the GOOD TODAY but easily forget about the BAD YESTERDAY.

b) They are very price sensitive. They are not cheapgates, they just concentrate on the short term BANG FOR BUCK.

Now, please don't get me wrong. There is probably nobody who fits this description exactly. But this is how the AVERAGE is.

I know all these, because it is MY JOB. In Economics, we've got a saying, unlike everybody else, this man is the average guy! :)

Anyways, if you wanna know about the fate of XB1 vs PS4 market share in North America or elsewhere in the world, check out my signature. In my original estimates ever since the beginning of summer, it says the market share of XB1 (between XB1 and PS4 only) will be around 35-45%. So a 2-1 sale ratio seems to get it closer to the 35% minimum of the given range, while current sales ratio is probably closer to 45%, both of which are still within my estimations.

Yup. Don't expect much to be different come February.
