If this game sells THAT well, it will send out a message to publishers that they can charge full price just for MP.
Don`t know if that is a good thing.

You don't buy COD or BF for the single player. Titanfall cuts the crap.

Other genres........that is the key word, may have different expectations.

I bought ghosts for the SP. Never touched MP.

Also no SP in TF is a big problem for marketing. The game will really have to sell off of hype and great word of mouth. Unlike COD you can't have a trailer filled with a bunch of explosions and action set pieces. I mean every single trailer for the game released so far has just been gameplay. Great for us, but not for a TV ad.
