Rare DEFINITELY still has a lot of talent. The artwork is gorgeous and very stylized without being derivative. Hopefully the game is fun to actually play.

they look fine to me. cartoony and silly-looking- fits the game accordingly in that it's more of a family game, imo.

See what i said? "I can't say the same for the characters." So sure, i think it's perfectly reasonable for me to at least expect the characters to be the same quality as the rest of the game.

The player models looking mediocre is hardly game breaking, but this is their show of game for the next gen kinect P: You'd think they'd want to show off a bit more.

The actual models or the faces of the models? I thought the characters look fine. Maybe they just used ugly people.
