We have our own dollar currency. We're still near parity with the USD though and paying $100 extra for consoles, games here are usually $99 at EB, (GameStop) too... I got them to price match it down to $88!!!

The PS4 though is $550 here..... Still better than the PS3, some $1099.99 at launch.

I don't think any country other than the United States use the US dollar as their primary currency ;) . Of course many countries trade using the US dollar but that's different.

Remember that you're not actually paying $100 more. American's have to pay tax too whereas yours is included in the price. So your paying $50 more than Americans. Your games though are a ripoff :) 

Oh yeah... Good point. Makes me feel slightly better. Accessories are ridiculous too. $99 for an Xbox controller with play & charge kit?!?!

Just did a google search before for Titanfall pre-order, found a Target page that said $60 and I was so happy................. until I realised it was the US Target site, not the Australian one... Another $88!! Sorry to complain like a bitch everyone but....

Those prices are riduculous. Is everthing expensive in Australia? Is the minimum wage really high with the high prices? I know Australians travel A LOT! So I always thought the pay in Australia was very good.

Well, I was assuming that it was the type of deal I got because it was a Day One Edition in mint condition. Looked as if it was barely touched. Could be legit though, I was just in shock that the guy took my low ball offer, he could have been hard up for cash.
