I think peoepl are talking a lot about tyje doom of Nintendo or Sony or whatever, but peopel don't appreciate that videogames will still be around! 

WE'RE GAMERS! I think we should be htankful for our joint hobby and not let these fights get between us , afterall, when it comes down to it we are all the same really. 

I think we need some time to appreciate the brillianceof videogames, regardless of the creator - be it Naughty God or Sega, and just realise that we are all in this together. It is no time to be celebrating the downfall of other console manufactoruers or developers, we should all be happy for what we have.

I think the biggest issue we have is the quality of the video games rather than just whether or not if video games will be around or not... If a Company like Nintendo or Sony goes down and MS remains, I do fear that the quality of the games will decrease one way or another... Nintendo with their polish on each of their games and Sony with their new IPs... Not to say MS can't do the same just after Rare/Kinect, I feel like they are in just for the money...

Video games will always be around, its just which video games will be around is the question? If I can't have my Nintendo titles with some Sony titles, its hard for me to even care about any console games...

But I am pretty happy with my wiiU and 3ds and I am sure people are happy with their ps4, vita and x1 (I doubt anyone is happy with an OUYA) and I definitely can't wait for moar games to come out, thats for sure!

Haters are going to hate.

Peopel need to take a step back and raelise that they are taking the "war" too seriously,. it's not actually a battle! It's time to calm down and accept our lives for what it is. It's fun! I appreciate the comments that I've had so far, and I appreciate all the support and subscribers, and I always will. Thansk a lot for all of this.

This is truely the language coming from my heart. Can people start to think about this? We are all humans and we all love to play the games! It'#s time to think about this.

Does Justice mess...with your keyboard?

I agree.  Voids get filled.  Even if companies die, the people who make video games will still be there.  How many times have we seen a developer disband only to see the survivors create a new studio?  The spirit and soul of video games will always be there as long as there are people who want to play.

As am example, I wouldn't call myself a 'Sony fan'--rather, I'm a World Wide Studios fan.  I'm a fan of the people who actually work on making video games.  Those are the people I follow.  If Sony went belly up tomorrow, I'm willing to bet the heart of those studios would carry on elsewhere under a new name.

The thing is microsoft isn't exactly in it for the money. (Otherwise they would have dropped out ages ago.) 

Their mostly in it to show their pride and their xbox brand is just a way for them to be dick waving. 

I actually wanted to do a similar thread but since I'm kind of  "new" to the site, nobody would pay me any attention. I was thinking about parodying the Unity thread calling my own thread something like "Unity, in a different way" or something similar (Take the idea if you like it) and talk about how some people are slowly turning videogames talk into politics/religion talk.
