This is my favorite console warz logic of all. So there is this game that even outside of VGChartz is mega hyped, the most awaited game of the gen so far, has virtually nothing but top notch praise (not just "good praise", it gets amazing feedback everywhere). And yet, some people might only be hyped about it because it is skipping the PS4. Just fucking hilarious. As if anyone here gives a shit enough to hype up a game merely for SKU reasons.

It's ok man, the PS4 will have some good games too. Sometimes people let the console warz get into their heads.

Yeah I have seen this, heck on most other sites now people are afraid to say they are nintendo fans, really sad bunch gamers are. Thinking of gettign a wii-u, any news on when Zelda is coming?

Well according to the bloomberg report on it, Sony hasn't, or kaz, hasn't done any real restructuring. The investors aren't happy, and if you read the Bloomberg story, really, Sony isn't much different today than they were a couple of years ago. Without selling buildings, their losses would have been even more massive. They need to do something extreme, and when they do, they will be a shell of their former self, but at least they will exist.... If they keep basically doing nothing(the pc sector is a start) then they WILL go bankrupt. Son is in deep trouble, nothing they've done is looking like they will be better off in 2016... Look up the bloomberg story... Very eye opening, and depressing.

Meh it's one artcile and one guys opinion..............it is not the gospel.

Hyrule Warriors (spin off series, Musou game based off of Zelda) is pegged for release this year - no proper date as of yet. A proper Zelda probably won't be out until some time in 2015.

OT: More Sony Playstation gamers here. Smaller amount of Nintendo gamers but they're not too far behind. As for dominating VGChartz? No. Go to N4G, NeoGAF and IGN for that. Its quite balanced here, all things considered. Heck, even though there's a smaller Xbox community on this site, the release of Xbox One has attracted a quite a few more Xbox gamers to the forum.

While this site is indeed Playstation dominated, I think there are more die hard Nintendo fans out there. Fans who would defend Nintendo no matter the amount of wrong they may commit.

And that same type of logic and examples can be used against PS fans as well.

Example: I've seen way more annoying Playsation fans in the last few months. They constantly feel the need to downplay everything Xbox and Nintendo while always bringing up PS4's success; you're no longer allowed to bring up 3DS' numbers either and games like Titanfall will be downplayed because they are not on a Sony system. PS fans always seem to ignore the 3DS's sales while always reminding us about the Wii U's failures. A new thread is created by a PS fan everytime a game runs better on PS4 as a way of gloating as well, or apparently, "getting back at Xbox fans" for last generation.

See how I generalized PS fans like this... Not all Xbox fans care about Titanfall and not all them "downplay PS4's success."

I know for a fact that not all PS fans are like this.

First of all war has changed,

When 360 sales were soaring, circa 2007-8, this site had a far bigger number of xbox fans than it does now, gloating about the achievements of the underdog. Numbers went down along with MS's support. The same sony bias has been attributed to neogaf as well. But in reality during the first years of the PS3, Sony was vigorously criticized on that board. General census changed when Sony's arrogance went down.

Secondly the soldiers have changed,

We are usually forgetting that for a big part different consoles target different demographics. Sony has the wider audience/appeal of the 3 since they do not specifically focus on a particular group. Nintendo stricked out with the casual gamers this time around and is left with alot of committed 20+ yo nostalgia diehards. The thing with MS is that they have been limiting the focus of the Xbox brand to teen or early teen males which they think is a safer bet. Of course they have been trying to get the "casuals" but that has little to do with passionate online conversationalists.

Concluding, this will probably sound as a stretch to some but these little guys in the photo will not bother with board discussions and they are a big part of MS's pie.
