MW3 is my favorite COD game so I will follow this. I skipped BO2 and Ghost so I feel ready to go for another CoD this year.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

As oniyide said tho they claimed they were going to retake the record launch with GTA5 had stolen from them with ghosts... and it failed to come close to it so CoD is on the decline I would think. Especially when gta launched on 2 platforms and CoDDogs launched on everything it could.

Id say it already started. I personally stopped buying IW COD games period and SH doesnt seem to be that much better than current IW and there game is the one coming this year. SO that another COD i will be skipping. At least i save money. It is on a decline and IMHO this isnt going to help. I think most people dont even care WHO develops what COD, they dont follow it like that. SO it wont even make a difference to them anyway. Its actually sad that they are devoting 3 WHOLE dev teams to ONE series. They should just let one of them do something freaking new and let COD go quietly into the night, its going to happen anyway so they might as well not waste more resources on what is a sinking (slowly) ship. But this is Activision they seem to be the laziest of the big 3 western publishers.
