Do people realize that the $30-40 versions of Ground Zeroes are physical?

Journey cost $15 digitally on PS3. Ground Zeroes costs $20 digitally on PS3. It's not some kind of massive price difference.

What they need to defend isn't the length, but the price, and after reading that article, I'm convinced it's indefenceable!

Will repeat.

Journey: $15 digitally on PS3

Ground Zeroes: $20 digitally on PS3

What's the problem, exactly?

Anyone who has upgraded to a PS4 doesn't care about the PS3 version. The PS4 version is $30 digitally, that's absolutely inexcusable.

Well, there goes my rage. It was burning so brightly, too. :( I guess that's what I get for relying too much on sensationalist headlines.

$20 is still more than I'd want to pay for a 2-4hr experience, but it's much more acceptable than $40. $30 for the PS4/XOne version is still really pushing it. How much is it on PC, though? I haven't found that price anywhere.

He can defend the length but he can't defend the price.

This!!  Do they not realize the price is what is making everyone mad.  If it was $15 it would probably be alright, but $40 is just fucking outrageous.

At least there should be a discount for people will buy Phantom Pain when it releases.

I'll be getting Ground Zeroes on the PS4 only, ideally the retail version. The retail PS4 version costs £40 in the UK. The last time I spent £40 on a game was 2 years ago. For comparisons sake, Journey costs £10.

Even EA would be disgusted by this.

Amazon has it for 28.

Still way too expensive though. And released the same day as inFamous. It's like they're trying to sabotage themselves.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

I don't mind Ground Zeroes being short as it's supposed to be a Prologue, But it's just way too pricey to justify paying the money on it, especially in a month like March that has quite a few releases.

I won't be buying this because I do not agree with the price point, Journey and other games with that sort of length may be short, but they are also decently priced for the playtime you get since they are similar in price to something like a newly released DVD which is also about 2 hours.

I love Metal Gear Solid, but I will either skip Ground Zeroes or buy it when it has dropped in price.
