So firstly I am not attacking anyone for what they believe in, I just want bring this discussion up with the Debate happening tonight Between Bill Nye and Ken Ham.
I just want to see as a believer in Evolution if there can be a Proper Debate between these two belief's as I can't see reason to prevail but what I am asking is for what you believe in, and in all seriousness why you believe in it.
I will start that I do believe in Evolution and the reason behind my Belief's is because of the massive amount of Scientists (in all fields) that have backed it since the announcment of the theory Way back with Darwin, and  my main reason is to actually See evolution happen with bacteria under a Microscope evolve litterally infront of your eyes.
I know this is a touchy topic but I believe you guys can actully have a discussion about this, and with everything said even if you don't agree with other people's opinion's please do not attack anyone and their opinion no matter how ridiculous you think it is.

First of, I am a Roman Catholic (a kind of Christian if you prefer) and I actually believe in Evolution. As you stated, there is much evidence supporting this theory.

BUT, I still believe in some higher instance [we all like to call it 'God'] that created the universe. I'm just a tiny human, so I can't get around the fact that something this crazy like the Universe came to be without any 'help' whatsoever.

If other people have other opinions that's fine. If someone is Atheist, that's fine. Imo everyone should decide for themselves in what to believe in.

Off topic:

The one thing I don't like are sects, that basically just exist to rip you off and take all your money.

As a believer in evolution you should be able to spell it correctly in a poll.

Those debates will never go anywhere. They are to different schools of thought. One is the scientific method and the other is not.
