I believe this is true, in my humble oppinon :) Mouse is more accurate (at least you get more precision) alone but when you combine both sticks (controller), not only you are getting more accuracy but also it feels way more natural than a keyboard/mouse combo. It takes a while to become really good with a controller but it is really rewarding and it actually really feel ackward to move like  robot with a keyboard after that.

It isn't, that's why they are adding aim assist to controller players on PC. You may be better using a controller because you are used to it, but that's it. Didn't Microsoft cancel cross-platform gaming on Live because PC players always won?

Back on topic, I don't really care. Even if they didn't kill the servers, the player base will be way smaller in a few years and everyone will have moved to the sequels.

For what it's worth, playing on a PC hasn't made me suck any less at FPSs.

it is a good point. You pay 60 dollars for a piece of software that you can only use if you pay more money. Most are probably not even thinking about it though. I would imagine some would get frustrated down the road, perhaps they cant afford live anymore, or maybe kids whose parents stop paying for live but itll be minimal.

with COD, you pay 60 bucks and you get a SP campaign, and for 5 bucks a month you can play online with others. if that online goes away you still have SP so its still something.

If there was 2 meta threads on vgchartz of "I like/dislike titanfall" and all this stuff went into those 2 threads I'd swear there would be about 90% less threads started on here every day.

@d21lewis - Have you noticed a few less Tomb Raider threads since that game has gone to metacritic, both versions scored rather oddly given the number of threads about it on here.

Regarding an online only game requiring you have a sub to the online network on the X1? yes... you will also need a subscription of batteries for your controlling and VitC so you don't get scurvy.

I think if you can't afford 50euros a year then you are going to have a lot more worries than not being able to play titanfall online... Starvation would come to mind as worry number 1 for me.

Lets say someone bought an XB1, a couple games and titan fall,  then towards summer they are laid off.  Now money is really tight but they are managing.   Now the live sub runs out,  50 bucks may be a big chunk of change.   So they choose to let it lapse.   Now TF  is completely useless to that person until they can pay for it again.  So yes hunger would be a big concern, but how does that change the fact they cant play TF anymore? it would suck for them because now they are in a tight spot, and the game they do have to try and unwind and forget about shit arent working.

I dont think this is a major issue and like i said will be minimal.  but there will be people who just dont think about it and down the line end up in a spot where they cant play anymore

If PSN plus users are ok about loosing access to a game when their sub is cancelled then Titanfall supporters should be fine with Titanfall as well. And for the record, Titanfall does not appeal to me and neither does PSN plus.
