Did you get any of the dlc?

I'm still having a hard time on hard but making progress again so I agree that it's not so bad, but it's enogh that I have to keep stopping or I'd throw my vita.

no, not yet at least.   i beat the game before the DLC came out and haven't returned yet.  been meaning to for this discussion but i got so wrapped up in tomb raider i couldnt' be bothered with any other game.

If I pull off getting through the game on hard I might try it myself. Though I am wondering if that chicken suit would make the hard playthrough easier if that's the case I might get it sooner than later.

i imagine it would at least be hilarious.  might take the edge off of the frustrating moments.  xD

but for that I could just turn into an actual chicken :P

thinking about it though the slow health regen might not be worth the price of a slower stamina regen, though it might help with a second player in the chicken suit...

I really need to stop looking for way to make it easier and just finish it on hard lol

Nice! Yeah, it definitely has a quirky sense of style and humor

Let us know how you like it as you get deeper into the game.

so i finally (just in time to be too late) got around to replaying guacamelee. :P

two things come to mind that i had forgotten about.

1. i completely forgot how many fan service nods to other games were hidden in the game. mario, metroid, castle crashers, ect. i think they did a really good job with these nods. not to copy cat-ish,.. they really gave each a make over that really fit the universe of guacemelee but still nostalgic too.

2. i completely remember my 1 gameplay complaint now. those damn red bone throwing skeletons. the gameplay, as a competent brawler should, adds a couple frames of vulnerability to the end of your moves. but my god they over use those bone throwing skeletons and i often find they get in what feels like "cheap" shots. it's soo hard to do any combat while those fuckers are still alive.

Hi everyone, sorry for being MIA for a few days.

As this month comes to a close, I want to thank everyone for playing the game and participating in the discussion. I hope you all enjoyed Guacamelee!

Those who finished it: could you post your final score for the game? I'll put it up on the front page.

Next month starts in a couple days. The March game of the month is State of Decay, available on Xbox and Steam. It's 50% off on Steam for the next 5 hours...go get it!

Thanks again!

I'll put a solid "Great" (8/10)
The combat is solid, and platforming was super fun.
My only issues with it are the flashing colours & red skeletons in certain sections

Edit: Also some of the boss fights weren't entertaining, example Calaca was more of a cinematic boss to bring a climax to the story.

Squeezol's Fanclub Member? is that how it works?

Why can't I hold all these no gaemz?

Always looking to improve my awful drawings ;_;

Any other scores?

i rate it a 9.good game btw
