Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Mergers And Acquisitions? What should Nintendo Acquire?

Capcom could be a great acquisition opportunity. Their Market Cap is less than 1.2 Billion. They could easily be acquired at a 2 Billion premium with half shares, half cash.

Locking down Monster Hunter and Resident Evil and to some extent Mega Man, Ace Attorney, and much more could be extremely beneficial for Nintendo. Capcom also have some great licensing avenues such as movies, Universal Studios Monster Hunter Japan, and much more. Nintendo could definetely use their help in that area of expertise.

In addition, as Capcom is establishing their Mobile studio, that could be used to explore the mobile aspect that Investors want from Nintendo.

Nintendo should buy Sony.

No.  Sony would need to trim their debt to begin with as they have as much debt as they have cash on hand.

Thus bringing Sony's balance sheet near 0$

Depends on their future strategy...usual suspects if they want to stay more or less Japanese focused.

If they want to try catering more to western audience, CD Projekt RED, Obsidian Entertainment or Pirahna Bytes might be good acquisitions, though PC gamers would hate their guts afterwards for any of that.

Wo'nt happen, but CD Projekt RED would be sweet. The witcher game AND that futuristic title (cyberpun 2077 if I'm correct).

Looks like the futuristic shooter the Wii U needs (military ones dont sell well)

Platinum Games, Sega, Camelot, Alpha Dream, Treasure Co, Mistwalker, or Red Entertainment seem like probable candidates for Nintendo to acquire.

They should merge with Square Enix.

Or just buy BK IP from Rare/MS.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Cyberpunk 2077 is, just like Witcher, WRPG.

This one would be crazy controvercial, but entirely possible. Nintendo should buy Take-Two. With this, Nintendo would own GTA, Bioshock, Borderlands, XCOM, NBA 2K, Midnight Club, and Red Dead. Those are scary powerful exclusives to have and has massive western appeal. Nintendo has the money, and the only reason not to do it is the massive internet shit storm that would follow. And seriously, why should that bother Nintendo? Buy them, and let the continue business as usual.

That one would be a shocker...but I think if they ever try that, MS and Sony would jump in to counter that...Take Two is too important for both of them to let them go to Nintendo.

That will cause a massive shift that will shake the Video Game Industry and will basically force "core" gamers to buy a Wii U for those games.
