My signature ;) I don't have ZombiU, and if you see my latest episode, you might figure out why (my PC, I've got all the FPS content I want right there)... If anything you should buy a Wii U for SM3DW, W101, and Pikmin3, all experiences that can't be had ANYWHERE else! I already reviewed SM3DW, and will be reviewing W101 soon! I might still do it when things get slow, but this kind of irks me that they'd do this. And the issue is that the vicious cycle goes like this: 3rd party expects losses, cuts features/content; Wii U owner doesn't buy it because it has features/content cut out; 3rd party sees no one bought it, cuts support further; Wii U owners see further support cuts, decides to not buy anything on the Wii U from them... And so on and so forth until all the 3rd parties are weeded out, lol |
You are actually amazing dude, I subscribed!

Otherwise, I think Warner Bros. would be in some real legal trouble. Nintendo probably has to handle the actual account crediting, thus the notice came from them. It's also possible that Warner Bros. only did a partial refund, though, and Nintendo kicked in to make it a full refund. Damn, though, how bad must DLC sales have been? It must have been to the point that it was a clear loss, which is something you absolutely don't want with content intended to make you extra money. |
This, i love how people are saying Ninty came to the rescue and gave them their money.
@bolded. Exactly

@bolded. exactly. If anyone thinks that there was a substantial amount of people that bought a Batman game for the DLC needs to stop lying to themselves.
Either. Not enough people bought the actual game in the first place to make it worth it. Or, there wasnt enough people who planned on buying the DLC to make it worth it. Im going with the latter as that could be measured a bit by season pass. there probably werent enough of those bought to make it worth it. It is what it is.
No nobody got screwed over, you are getting your money back. You lost nothing.

It's not a reaction if its what really happened. The Wii U version was not the full experience found on the other versions of the game. Therefore they gimped it. It's not hard to understand.
"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."

Your theory would be good if the actual main studio developers where used to make the game. The Wii U version got out sourced and it was average compared to the launch game.

But it is true, at least in this case. It didn't had multiplayer.

I dont think its that the game itself sold badly (140k so far, Arkham City sold 200k and Warner still put the sequel out) I just think there wasnt enough demand for the DLC via season pass users.
Does Nintendo even fight for this stuff or just go oh well dont release it then. It just seems like so little care.
Like when skyrim DLC didnt come out for PS3, Sony went in and helped them get it working and gave a day 1 discount for it when it eventually came out.
Im not saying Nintendo didnt try but it does seem like there customers get the shit end of the stick alot.

read the reviews on the game that supposedly comes from unbias reviewers
