Indeed that. Almost double wisdom stats, 50% more AP and instant random fight ending move with Banish . Played BoF II so much I know almost every detail by heart

I've done enough playthroughs in BoF II as to allow me almost all combinations of parties and shaman fusions . I played it last year on the Wii virtual console, and had done a couple of playthroughs on the GBA prior to it as well.

Yet Bow + Light and Dark shamans + Twin Bow = Best.

Over 490 attack,  max everything else, attack hits twice (best damage dealer in the game), Spray hits all enemies, best healing and buff spells, can learn 2nd best offensive spell (Missile).

The problem with that particular fusion is that it completely limits your choice of party members (basically only Rand and Sten would work in your party, neither giving you useful fusions , as you basically take up two of the best shamans for Bow). Also, the Robot form's speed is slightly reduced from Bow's main form.

With Spoo+Seny Nina, you can also use Shin Katt, which has the highest attack stat of any character in the game. The ideal party you can pull out, in terms of survivability, damage per turn, healing and defense is Nina (fusion), Katt(Fusion) and Bow. 

Of course, i'm not counting Bleu, because that's just cheating

~250 speed is enough to outspeed all enemies except the sludges in the monster island.

I had fire/earth Sten hitting the stat cap (511) in attack and defense, and he has way more MP than Katt.

So my party was Ryu/Bow/Sten/Spar (water).

What setup were you pulling to get near 250 speed with Sten? Because Katt, which has the second highest Agi in the game, after Bleu, can barely hit that much Agi.

511 Def isn't unachiavable for devil Katt as well, given that you can also fuse Solo with Shin and keep the Devil fusion, having higher Agi than Sten and given that her Guts stat is very high as well, gives her a really good chance to stay alive after KO. She's third in overall survivability, next to Hero and Bleu, after fusion.
